Personal Information This rule is not just for Therpz, it applies to anywhere on the internet! NEVER give out your personal information such as your full name, city, address, phone number, password, etc. You never know if some random person is collecting the information you give out to stalk you.
Multiple Accounts You can only have one account on Therpz. If you are found breaking this rule, you will be banned forever, regardless of the reason why you made another account.
I know we all hate these, but they have to be enforced to make sure everyone is happy while roleplaying. I'll make this quick, I promise.
For Action/Adventure Roleplays:
You cannot be like a god! No one likes a person that won't get hurt or wounded. So if their is a fighting scene you are in, you can dodge and block, but also get wounded too, just to make it fair. Also, you can't have god-like powers such as thunder and lighting and laser beams unless the roleplay calls for it.
Thou shalt not kill! You cannot kill a character...
To roleplay means, basically, to play a role. In a roleplay, you and another person/people make up a story based on a theme where each of you is a character(s), and you sorta become your character(s). Roleplaying is what this entire forum is mainly about. We all get to make roleplays and be a part of them. Well, there's nothing else I can say except for this: I hope you like it here, and have fun roleplaying!
So, you want to roleplay. You want to create a story. You want to just have fun with a new OC. You're all ready to go, pencil in hand, hands resting on the keyboard, thinking that this will be easy. How difficult can characters be?
Well, you publish your new OC, you start to roleplay, you show everyone the first chapter of your story, when suddenly everyone rolls their eyes. "Your character's a Mary Sue!" they cry. "Dark characters are not necessarily good!"
Where did you go wrong?
Well, here's a step-by-step guide to creating characters!
My sister cosplayed Lithuania, from Hetalia! For those of you who haven't seen the anime, here's the reference pic I used (he's the one with the green sweater in the back): http://shojolover.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/hetalia1-8.jpg . The colours are a bit off, oh well. The tie is completely hand-sewn, and the sweatervest is modified from a sweater! I also made a bag with the colours of the Lithuanian flag that is (again) completely hand-sewn, but we didn't manage to take a picture with those.
Chinese referring to Mandarin, not Cantonese. Of course. XD
Anyway, I finally decided that Korean really isn't working for me. I think I can survive with my limited vocabulary and three-year-old grammar. However, my Dad was looking up language classes in my area, and found only French, German, and Mandarin Chinese. A friend was also looking online and found this neat little Russian learning website that is absolutely AMAZING and in-depth.
So, now I ask, which language would be the best to learn? AndI'mnotlearningFrench.
Well, the auditions are now open! They are not obligatory, as long as you say on the chatbox, post here, or pm me the fact that you want to be in the play, you will be assigned a character. However, if you want a character that fits you and most likely has a large-ish role, auditioning is necessary. A YouTube account will also be recommended for the auditions, but if you would like to do it on Skype or on another sound/video hosting website, feel free to tell me.
Please upload the video and post it on this thread with the lines you said. Although my sister and I will be...
