I'm finally sitting down to write this! I know I'm late, and this is probably the most anticipated review I've ever had, but you can forgive me for taking so long, right?
1st is the track I stand alone by Godsmack. This was the first song I heard by them, they were getting huge at the time, and you couldn't help but hear this everywhere. This is also my favorite song by them. From beginning to end on this track, it's guitar heavy. Really crunchy sounding guitar. Vocals are good, drums carry it but thats it, bass is there. I really like this track, it's a goodie. 8.5/10.
Now the album, The Oracle. Lot of good riffs on this album, very memorable and heavy. Drums are great, really compliment the guitars and carry the album. Bass is ok. Nothin really great there. Vocals are solid, I like them.
Pros:Drums
Vocals
Production
Cons:Gets old quick. Have to listen in moderation.
This is getting a solid 8/10. It's good, but after a listen or two, you've pretty much heard all there is to hear, it isn't deep like some albums.
Slipknot is next (I think). Leave me some requests.
Oh, and check out my band on Youtube! We are The Autumn Descent.
See you next time. MM24 \m/
