One morning in Twinleaf town, Taranee awoke to her mom calling her to breakfast.

"Uh, okay. Haven't heard of those before. So, you're using your gastly, then?" Taranee said, hand on one of her her pokeballs.

"Heh, this looks like it's gonna be interesting.." he said to himself.

Tina wanted gastly to do poison fang

"Oh, you get first move, then? Empoleon, go!" Taranee sent out Empoleon to battle. "Block the poison fang then knock back Gastly with Steel Wing!" Empoleon put up it's left wing to let Gastly come at it then hit it back with Steel Wing. "Yeah, go Pippy! Nice move, though, Tina."

Tina used spirtitomb next

"Waiiit-What? Your using another pokemon? I thought this was only one pokemon battle---Fine, let's go to three, I'll switch too!" With that, Taranee sent out Beautifly. "Beauty, go! And Tina, now it's your move."

i think i'll go with a surprise move said Tina

"Go ahead and do it, then, I'm ready. Pippy's ready too, aren't you, Pippy." Taranee said, smirking. Empoleon nodded. "Empolll, Poleon!"

Tina told spirititomb to do it move

"Hmm..this is one interesting battle.." he said, still watching.

Tina noticed that he is just watching the whole time and Tina just want to go to bubblewater city

"Uh...Bubblewater City? What region is that in, Sinnoh? Must be brand-new, I've visited every city on this map. Empoleon, wait--Let's call this battle a draw. Tina, you mind showing me where Bubblewater City is? If it has a gym leader, I'm all for going." Taranee was as spazzy as a...spazzy Taranee. She didn't know of this town.

"Er...well then, I guess we shall visit it," he said, "Say, you guys wanna fly on Sora with me? It'll take too long to walk."

"Ermmm, okay. I'll go." Taranee said, hesitant. "Wait-you said your father founded it? Does that mean he's gym leader? I've got all the badges you can get, far as I know, except Volkner. We were training before we met you guys." She paused again. "Anyway, 'course I'll go. C'mon!" And she took off running.

Taranee heard Tina's words and stopped dead.
"FFF. YOUR THE GYM LEADER?"
She stood there gaping like a fish.
"NO WAY."
She regained hold of her sanity.
"B-b-b-but...Oh fine, there are 9 gym badges then! Let's go to your gym so I can battle you officially!"
Taranee called out Beautifly. "Go, Beautifly!"
Taranee returned Empoleon, hopped on Beautifly's back, and started to fly along above Tina so she'd know which town was her father's.
