| Cayce spun the wheel carefully. She moved her finger slightly into the clay to make a vase shape. "Cayce!" Cayce immediatley stopped the wheel. Her uncle walked over to her. He handed her 50 drachmas. "I need you to buy some more clay in the market and some more bread." Cacyce nodded sweetly. | |

| The wind against Motoko's face felt like pure bliss. She missed this feeling. Motoko put more pressure on the paintbrush, and closed her eyes. Her father had said something about letting the paint flow, so there she was. When she opened her eyes, she had seen that her 'masterpiece' had a long straight line through the middle. Disappointed, she took the paper off the canvas and threw it off the balcony. Motoko watched it fall only a few feet before it hit the grass. She propped her chin up on her bony elbows and watched the clouds. There was nothing better to do at the moment, and Motoko was already bored enough.
